From April 1–7, 2026, the College of Interdisciplinary Studies, Thammasat University (CISTU), hosted students and faculty from National Chengchi University (NCCU), Taiwan, as part of the CISTU x NCCU International Student Fieldwork: Thai History and Culture & Social Development.

This collaborative programme reflects a long-standing academic partnership between the two institutions. Throughout the week, participants engaged in a range of academic and experiential activities—from institutional visits and expert-led lectures to field-based learning on culture, sustainability, and social issues in Thailand.

Beyond knowledge exchange, the programme demonstrates how sustained partnerships can support meaningful cross-cultural dialogue and interdisciplinary learning across contexts.

At CISTU, international fieldwork is not treated as a one-off activity, but as a structured platform for academic exchange—bringing together partner institutions in ways that generate distinct value for visiting participants while enriching the learning environment for our own students.

We continue to welcome collaboration with international partners interested in developing similar interdisciplinary programmes.
