Information about Thailand
Bangkok
“Bangkok” known in Thai as “Krung Thep Maha Nakhon”,

It is located on the bank of the Chao Phraya River which covers an area of more than 1,500 square kilometers and being the most populated city in Thailand with approximately more than 5.6 million people. Moreover, it is the central of government, education, transportation, economic, financial & banking, commercial, telecommunication, development and tourist attraction. Furthermore, Bangkok is the longest name city in the world. Be prepared for traffic and dress modestly when visiting sacred sites.
Chiang Mai
Located in northern Thailand, Chiang Mai is known for its beautiful old city walls, mountain views, and thriving arts and craft scenes. It’s a cultural capital with deep Lanna heritage, serene temples, and a slower pace of life compared to Bangkok.
Lampang
Lampang offers a more traditional Thai experience, famous for horse-drawn carriages, historic teakwood architecture, and peaceful community life. The city is a growing hub for sustainable development and ethnic diversity, making it a meaningful stop for social fieldwork.
