About
In alignment with Thailand 4.0 policy, Thammasat University responded to the call for workforce development with innovative degree programs. The Ministry of Higher Education's initiative led to the creation of the Bachelor of Science Program in Data Science and Innovation and the Bachelor of Digital Transformation. These programs, jointly developed by faculty members from the Department of Computer Science, Mathematics, and Statistics, and the College of Innovation, address the country's need for skilled professionals in data science and digital transformation. The Bachelor of Science Program in Data Science and Innovation transitioned to the College of Interdisciplinary Studies in 2020, complementing its existing interdisciplinary courses.

Our program equips graduates with the knowledge and skills in artificial intelligence & analytical technology and business acumen that make them in demand in a wide range of industries. The program is co-designed by Thammasat University and our industry partners to ensure the relevance of the program in the context of industry needs. Cooperative and Work-Integrated Education (CWIE) and project-based learning (PBL) are adopted in this program to help students develop hands-on experience

For the first two years, core subjects give you an understanding of the basic concepts and principles of statistics, mathematics, computing, and business.

In the third year, we place special emphasis on the fundamental principles and technology for data analytics and management and the hands-on experience through project-based learning.

In the final year, you will study specialized topics from a range of optional modules, as well as gain work experience from cooperative education at the organization of your choice.
