The program aims to address various challenges such as rapid advancements in digital technology and innovation, increasing climate change impacts, the aging population in Thailand and globally, and economic and political fluctuations resulting from geopolitical shifts. It supports the sustainable development principle of "leaving no one behind," enhancing quality of life by ensuring adequate basic necessities, a healthy environment, and opportunities for individuals to realize their potential and contribute to future generations.
Additionally, the program incorporates principles of bioeconomy, circular economy, and green economy, emphasizing the application of modern science, technology, and creativity to enhance economic value while balancing resource conservation and biodiversity. This involves transforming production, services, and consumption patterns to reduce environmental impacts, addressing current national development needs.
