Thammasat University was founded with the mission to produce graduates who serve society and the public. A distinctive feature of Thammasat University's early curriculum, known as the "Thammasat Baccalaureate," is that it encompasses studies in multiple disciplines. This approach equips graduates with comprehensive knowledge and a broad perspective, enabling them to apply their learning to various fields of work and providing a sufficient foundation for further advanced studies.

This principle aligns with the undergraduate programs in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) which is currently being offered in many leading universities around the world. PPE Program at the College of Interdisciplinary Studies aims to equip students with knowledge and critical thinking skills to keep pace with the complex and interdependent changes of the contemporary world. It is necessary to draw on interdisciplinary knowledge from various fields to understand, analyze, and solve social and national problems.
 

PPE is one of the flagship programs at CISTU. We currently offer 3 distinct PPE programs, PPE at Tha Phrachan Campus in Bangkok, PPE Lampang at TU Lampang Campus, and PPE International Program at Tha Phrachan Campus in Bangkok. The first two are offered in Thai, while PPE International Program is offered in English.
