As International Women’s Day 2026 draws to a close, the College of Interdisciplinary Studies, Thammasat University (CISTU), recognizes the many women who contribute to shaping the institution across all levels.
This year, the CISTU community also highlights women working across international organizations and partner institutions—including collaborators from United Nations Development Programme—whose work intersects with the college’s academic and institutional mission.
From institutional leadership and programme development to teaching, research, administration, and student engagement, women play a central role in how CISTU operates and evolves. Beyond the university, alumni and partners extend this impact across sectors, contributing to policy, development, business, and community initiatives.
At CISTU, inclusion is not treated as a symbolic commitment, but embedded in everyday academic and institutional practice. The presence of diverse voices—across gender, disciplines, and professional contexts—shapes how knowledge is produced, challenged, and applied.
The featured women in this collection reflect this broader ecosystem. Their work—whether within the university or in collaboration with global organizations—demonstrates how interdisciplinary thinking connects academic knowledge with real-world impact.
