The NIU x CISTU CONNECT event wrapped up with lively energy, meaningful exchanges, and a room full of curiosity and ambition.

We were honored to welcome Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kanjana Thepboriruk from Northern Illinois University (NIU), USA, who generously shared key information about the 2+2 Double Degree Program as well as insights into life and learning at NIU.

The 2+2 Double Degree Program offers students from all PPE programs (BA in Philosophy, Politics, Economics) — PPE Tha Prachan, PPE Lampang, and PPE International Program— the opportunity to study 2 years at Thammasat University and 2 years at NIU, ultimately earning degrees from both institutions. More than just a pathway to international qualifications, this program opens the door to intercultural experience and global growth that lasts a lifetime.

This event reflects the core mission of the College of Interdisciplinary Studies (CISTU): to foster international partnerships and empower students to step beyond boundaries and embrace global opportunities.
