CISTU Strengthens Global Partnerships with Xi’an University through MoU Signing and Campus Visit

On 30 June 2025, the College of Interdisciplinary Studies, Thammasat University (CISTU), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saifon Suindramethi, Dean of CISTU, joined the official Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony with Xi’an University in Xi’an, People’s Republic of China.

Also present were Prof. Dr. Supasawat Chatchawan, Rector of Thammasat University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suparee Ritirong, Vice Rector for International Affairs, highlighting the strategic importance of this international collaboration.
The MoU aims to promote academic cooperation, including student and faculty exchange, joint research, and shared teaching initiatives. It marks a major step forward in CISTU’s mission to foster interdisciplinary education and global citizenship.

During the visit, the CISTU delegation also toured Xi’an University’s campus, including exhibitions and research laboratories, and engaged with Thai exchange students currently studying in China.
This partnership reflects CISTU’s continued commitment to expanding global networks and offering students meaningful international learning experiences.
